Calvary was written alongside another lazy ol' fucker a mine, The Holy Court of Baltimore, back in 2008. They tell the same story, just different. Like its weirdo sibling, Calvary is a break-up record, and it is a record about dumb, obstinate, stubborn perseverance, and it is a record that wraps itself up in the carelessly stripped hides of other stories in order to make sense of its own. It’s also a covers record.

Calvary is free to download! But, for now, any proceeds from sales will be donated to We Rescue Love, the non-profit, no-kill rescue organization that introduced me to my dear, dear Cricket, a pit-bull, who has been a great joy and comfort to Lauren and I, a tireless pest to her adopted brother, Bones, also a pit-bull, and, not infrequently, a rather encouraging listener.
